Inbound CIMs, teasers, and fund decks turn into structured Affinity records without an analyst retyping them.

London and San Francisco – September 16, 2026 – V7 and Affinity today announced an integration partnership. V7 becomes an official Affinity integration partner, and V7 Go's agents now read from and write to Affinity, a CRM for private capital, through the Affinity API and Affinity's MCP server. Inbound CIMs, teasers, and fund decks turn into structured Affinity records without an analyst retyping them.
Under the integration, an agent extracts the company, sector, revenue, EBITDA, transaction size, and advisor from an inbound document, checks that company against existing Affinity records before it creates anything, and writes the result into the correct opportunity with the source PDF attached. Where a match is ambiguous, the workflow stops and asks a person. It does not guess.
The step it removes is the one nobody defends. A CIM runs forty pages. Fifteen of the fields in it matter. An analyst spends 20 to 30 minutes moving those fifteen fields into the CRM, by Affinity's own reckoning, and by then the next deck has arrived.
Affinity had already solved the harder half of the problem. It captures and structures deal and contact data out of email, calendar, and meeting systems without anyone updating a record by hand, which is part of why more than 3,000 firms across 30 countries run their pipeline on it. Documents were the gap. Attachments do not fill in fields, and it is the same gap V7 keeps meeting across its work on AI for private markets: the system of record holds up, and the PDFs feeding it do not.
What Ships at Launch
Four workflows are available from day one:
CIM and teaser to deal record: V7 Go pulls company, sector, financials, deal size, and advisor from an inbound CIM or teaser, deduplicates against existing Affinity organizations, and populates the opportunity fields. The source PDF stays attached to the record.
Deal screening against the mandate: Inbound opportunities are scored against a firm's own investment criteria before anyone opens the deck. The score and the reasoning behind it are written to Affinity as structured fields, so the pipeline view reflects the screen rather than a partner's memory of it.
CRM data hygiene: V7 Go reconciles Affinity records against the documents a firm already holds. It fills blank fields, corrects stale ones, and normalizes entity names across duplicates. Every change carries a citation back to the document that justified it.
IC memo and pipeline preparation: Agents pull deal history, relationship context, and prior interactions from Affinity, combine them with the underlying documents, and draft investment committee memos and pipeline summaries with sources cited line by line.
All four lean on V7 Context Graph, which holds documents, entities, relationships, and source evidence in one layer of firm memory. That is what lets an agent recognize that an inbound teaser describes a company the firm passed on in 2024, rather than opening a second record for it.
Context Graph is a knowledge layer over a firm’s portfolio, market data and deal history. When a teaser arrives, the screening workflow already knows the firm looked at that company two years ago, why it passed, and which of its portfolio companies sit in the same supply chain. That is what stops a familiar name from becoming a second Affinity record, and what lets a screen carry the firm’s memory instead of only the document in front of it.
Configured with your team
Implementation is part of what a firm buys, not a services line item. V7 solutions engineers scope the use case, build a proof of concept before any commitment, configure the workflows against the firm’s own documents, map output fields to its Affinity fields, and stay involved after go-live.
Permissions Stay Affinity's
The integration runs on the MCP server Affinity launched in April 2026 to connect its CRM to AI assistants. That server inherits whatever security, permissioning, and privacy rules a firm has already configured. Through V7 Go a user sees what they would see logging into Affinity directly, and nothing beyond it. There is no second permission model to keep in sync, which is usually where this kind of integration goes wrong.
V7 Go's governance layer covers every workflow that touches Affinity data: SOC 2 Type II certification, role-based access control, and an audit trail on each agent decision, with every extracted field traceable to the page it came from. V7 ships comparable MCP connections to other systems deal teams already run on, including PitchBook and DealCloud.
Availability
The integration is available to mutual customers of V7 and Affinity. Firms with an active Affinity subscription can connect it to a V7 Go workspace without a separate data pipeline or a custom build. Teams who want to watch it run against their own deal flow can book a demo with V7.
