How does V7 Go detect anomalies in Microsoft Excel?

V7 Go's AI analytics agent reads new rows as they are added to your tracked Excel workbook and compares them against prior data patterns, defined thresholds, and expected ranges. Anomalies — such as budget overruns, unusual variance, or data entry errors — are flagged and explained in natural language in the Teams alert.

Can it be configured for specific threshold rules?

Yes. You can define custom threshold rules — for example, alert when a budget line exceeds 110% of target or when a KPI drops below a defined floor. V7 Go applies these rules to every new row and generates a Teams alert only when a rule is triggered.

Which Teams channels does it post to?

V7 Go routes alerts to the Teams channel you designate for each workbook or workbook type. Finance anomalies can post to a finance ops channel, while operational breaches post to the relevant department channel. You can also configure DMs to the data owner for specific alert types.

Does it work with Excel workbooks stored in SharePoint or OneDrive?

Yes. V7 Go integrates with Excel workbooks stored in Microsoft 365, including files in SharePoint and OneDrive. This ensures it works seamlessly within your existing Microsoft 365 environment without requiring file exports or copies.

Can it analyze multiple worksheets in the same workbook?

Yes. V7 Go can be configured to monitor multiple worksheets within the same Excel workbook, applying different anomaly detection rules and routing different alert types to different Teams channels based on the worksheet being updated.
